KENYA20HZ is a DJ, music producer, sound artist, radio host, writer and cultural researcher from Río de Janeiro, Brazil, who began her career as one of the selectees of the Red Bull Favela Beats artist residency based at Afroreggae. She stood out for her research focused on Urban, Experimental and Electronic Music. Since 2016, she has been building her name in the internationl artistic community with simultaneous activities in the areas of Multimedia Research, Technology and Art. She has performed in various renowned festivals, clubs, parties, performances and art & research events. Currently, she is resident of the Carlos Capslock (SP), member of the curatorial team of Festival Novas Frequências and former Sound Designer at School Theater of Sao Paulo.
