Mario de Vega

Vega´s work is contextual, embracing the tension between documentation and performativity. Photographic documentation, video, dramaturges, objects, remains of actions, events, and situations producing ambiguous relations between objects and spaces. His work has been exhibited in Mexico, North America, Chile, South Africa, India, South Korea, China, Russia, Japan, and around Europe. He lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City. Since 2020, Mario de Vega is Professor for Sound at Kunsthochschule Kassel.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][agni_image img_url=”2056″ img_size=”large” animation=”1″ animation_duration=”0.8″ animation_delay=”0.4″][vc_column_text padding_left=”10px” animation=”1″ animation_duration=”0.8″ animation_delay=”0.4″]

ALADA

The experimental artist from Rio de Janeiro but now residing in Berlin gained cultural relevance through her songs and remixes. They cover a range of unlikely rhythms and are highly inspired by the Afrofuturism movement. Part of her evolution and intention as an artist is to shock and question, bringing a new vision to what we understand as “music”, “art” and “genre”. Always with a paradigmatic break approach, her work has a strong content of emotion and sexuality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][agni_image img_url=”2057″ img_size=”large” animation=”1″ animation_duration=”0.8″ animation_delay=”0.4″][vc_column_text padding_left=”10px” animation=”1″ animation_duration=”0.8″ animation_delay=”0.4″]

Slim Soledad

Black travesty, performer, and multi-artist from São Paulo, based in Berlin. About 2 years ago she started acting as DJ and her research as a DJ starts from Brazilian funk extending something more experimental and then is kind of crazy frying with very specific points that cross your soul. Slim is part of the queer collective called Chernobyl focused on a POC and LGBTQIA+ audience.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
